China-based technology giant Xiaomi, which entered the mini-computer industry, initiated crowdfunding to launch Ningmei Rubik’s Cube Mini computer. The crowdfunding initiated by the Chinese company has already exceeded its target by a week before the deadline.
The device, which is almost the same size as a Rubik’s cube with its dimensions of 62 x 62 x 42 mm, weighs only 145 grams, which makes it even lighter than a standard smartphone. The computer, which is powered by the Intel Celeron J4125 processor, also has a small fan to prevent overheating.
As mentioned above, the mini computer, powered by the Intel Celeron J4125 processor, uses 6/8 GB LPDDR4 RAM on the memory side and hosts a single M.2 SSD hard drive slot.
If we go to the connection side, the device has one USB-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, one micro SD card slot, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device, which supports 4K video output with its HDMI port, also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Xiaomi’s mini-computer is currently available exclusively in China. The basic version of the mini-computer, which is on the shelves at 999 yuan, has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Also, it should be noted that for Marvel fans, there is another version of the computer designed inspired by Iron Man.
